Winery review: An intense red color. Aromas of violet and blackcurrant enriched by hints of liquorice and black pepper. In the mouth it is full, round, slightly tannic and with a spicy note on the finish.
My review: The nose on this wine was cherry, maybe a little oak with a lingering musty smell. Heat was felt from the initial taste, so the wine was not integrated very well. The alcohol was strong even through the finish and stayed on the palate until the next tasting.
This was tasted without food
